Samsung Village, a flagship social contribution initiative of E&C Group, is tailored to the unique characteristics of the construction industry. Through this initiative, Samsung C&T fulfills its social responsibility as a corporate citizen by assisting marginalized neighbors.

In conjunction with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Samsung C&T's E&C Group continuously implements projects aimed at improving housing, education, sanitation, and health environments in Korean and international communities. The company's focus is on creating residences, enhancing access to drinking water and sanitation facilities, and strengthening climate change response capabilities.

Since 2013, we have been undertaking community development initiatives at the village level under the "Samsung Village" brand. Our employees collaborate in volunteer construction activities, ensuring that residents enjoy a safe and hygienic living environment.

Additionally, we supply classrooms, restrooms, and water facilities to village kindergartens and schools, facilitating stable living and learning conditions. We also provide health and sanitation, disaster preparedness, and household economic empowerment education for village residents. By investing in ecosystem support, we strive to transform these villages into sustainable communities.

Furthermore, in Korea, we are committed to enhancing residents' living conditions through housing renovation activities under the "Samsung Village Hope Repair" initiative.
