Samsung C&T’s E&C Group is focusing on youth education as a key area in its corporate social responsibility endeavors.

Samsung Dream Class

Since 2012, Samsung Dream Class has been dedicated to reducing the educational gap among teenagers in Korea. Building on this foundation, middle school students across the country not only have improved academically but also have increased their self-efficacy, growing into well-rounded members of society thanks to guidance from college students. In 2021, its 10th anniversary, a comprehensive digital education platform based on online and mobile technologies has been newly established. This platform covers career exploration, future skills, and basic subject content, aiming to bridge the gap in aspirations as well as education. The revamped Samsung Dream Class offers three educational courses, including career guidance for teenagers to discover their aptitude and dreams, explore various fields, future capability education such as coding required by the future society, and essential subject learning. It also provides multidimensional mentoring from Samsung employees and experts. Samsung Dream Class represents a journey of dreams for young people embracing new digital-based opportunities.

Samsung Hope Stepping Stone

Samsung Hope Stepping Stone is a program designed to support teenagers to be in a stable environment when they turn 18, as they become independent from care received from facilities and take their first steps into society. For up to two years, it provides single-room living spaces for young people of aged 18-25 preparing for independence as their time in facility protection ends. The program offers practical support for teenagers' independence, such as 1:1 integrated case management services tailored to each individual's capabilities.
